Delaware Beach Storage Center is committed to providing you with the best in customer service. Below are the answers to many of the most common questions we receive. If your questions are not answered here, please feel free to contact us to speak to one of our self storage professionals.
When can I move in?
When there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime during normal access hours.
How much notice needs to be given before I move out?
All contracts are month-to-month. However, we do require 30 days written notice before you move out.
What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise.
Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?
No. At the time of signing you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access to your unit during normal access hours. For your convenience you may also download the Easy Access app to your smart phone which you can use to open the gate.
Do you offer a truck or a mover?
Yes, we offer the use of the Delaware Beach Storage Center moving truck. While we do not offer a mover we would be more than happy to provide you a list of local movers for your convenience. Please contact us for details.
What forms of payments do you accept?
Cash, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
How do I make a payment?
Typically, customers sign up to have payments automatically deducted from their credit card or bank account monthly to avoid any late fees. You are also able to pay in person, mail a check (to PO Box 385 Nassau, DE 19969), or make a payment through our website. You may also call us with a credit card payment.
Do you sell locks, boxes and storage supplies?
Yes, we are your one stop shop for all your packing and storage needs and competitive prices.
How do I know how much storage space I will need?
You can either use our Storage Calculator
on our website or call our manager for assistance.
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
Am I able to store vehicles or motorized water vehicles?
Yes, we have outside storage spaces available for rent. We also allow vehicles to be stored in drive-up units on the first floor of the facility. Please contact us for full details.
Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?
Yes, we will have ample and complimentary carts for your convenience.
